Project Examples

Requirements

Many business owners in Canada have attempted to exploit the entrepreneurial opportunities presented by digitization and platform technologies, but they face tremendous challenges in making strategic investments in a market that is relatively new to them. If your company would like to invest in new apps or internet-enabled products and services for a certain market, a group of 4-5 student-consultants will spend about 400 hours developing a comprehensive strategy analysis of the investment options that cater to your business goals in the IoT space.

Based on an investment interest that your company identifies, our student-consultants will apply their analytical thinking and market research skills to develop a strategy framework to help you make informed decisions.

Our student-consultants will proceed to meet the following milestones:

  • Define the keys challenges faced by the company.
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis on technology and market trends and competition.
  • Develop strategic options and plausible scenarios for the expected outcomes.
  • Evaluate the potential risks and impact of the strategic options on your organization and business environments.
  • Develop decision criteria to select a feasible option.
  • Propose an implementation plan for the selected strategy; work creatively around the resource constraints of your organization.
  • Write and present the proposal persuasively.
