Requirements
Many business owners in Canada have attempted to exploit the entrepreneurial opportunities presented by digitization and platform technologies, but they face tremendous challenges in making strategic investments in a market that is relatively new to them. If your company would like to invest in new apps or internet-enabled products and services for a certain market, a group of 4-5 student-consultants will spend about 400 hours developing a comprehensive strategy analysis of the investment options that cater to your business goals in the IoT space.
Based on an investment interest that your company identifies, our student-consultants will apply their analytical thinking and market research skills to develop a strategy framework to help you make informed decisions.
Our student-consultants will proceed to meet the following milestones:
- Define the keys challenges faced by the company.
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis on technology and market trends and competition.
- Develop strategic options and plausible scenarios for the expected outcomes.
- Evaluate the potential risks and impact of the strategic options on your organization and business environments.
- Develop decision criteria to select a feasible option.
- Propose an implementation plan for the selected strategy; work creatively around the resource constraints of your organization.
- Write and present the proposal persuasively.
