George Brown College invites employers to collaborate with postgraduate learners from the innovative Cloud Computing Technologies Program. This program equips learners with advanced system and network administration skills, cloud productivity tools, and cloud computing design and security. Learners have experience in leading cloud providers, like Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon AWS. 

Employers are expected to engage regularly with learners, provide project guidance, share necessary information, attend virtual presentations, and offer constructive feedback via the Riipen platform.

Upon completion, employers will receive a final report detailing project findings and recommendations from learners. Additionally, learners will deliver a final presentation showcasing their project outcomes and addressing employer questions and feedback.

Project Examples

Explore innovative projects in cloud computing technologies where learners can contribute by:

  1. Creating secure solutions that support highly available micro-services that meet client needs.
  2. Implementing enterprise-level applications in hosted cloud environments that respond to client needs and business practices.
  3. Architecting and deploying fault-tolerant solutions within cloud computing platforms to solve identified business requirements.
  4. Automating security and resources for applications by using cloud computing tools to mitigate risk for organizations and protect assets.
  5. Designing and testing code-based solutions to cloud computing problems that ensure security in-depth.
  6. Assessing the viability of developing, deploying, maintaining, and securing cloud computing solutions using a variety of resiliency testing tools.
  7. Creating and defending cloud-computing strategies used to solve identified business needs on behalf of a client.
  8. Installing and monitoring a database management system on the cloud in response to specified requirements.
  9. Designing, developing, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading computing systems and network infrastructures for the cloud.
