Students at the University of California, Riverside Extension program will work on Effective Performance Management issues for your organization. They will apply Effective Performance Management to your corporate goals, mission, and vision. Effective performance management is result driven providing satisfaction and a win -win situation to employer and employees of the firm. The focus of this course will be to incorporate Adaptative Performance Management by solving problems creatively, handle uncertain situations, to improve ability to handle stress as well as risk, improve interpersonal skills, and learn new tasks, including adapt to new cultural values.

The project will focus on creating and managing a high-performance workforce, which is the critical component of organizational success. They will also examine alignment of business strategy, pursuing smart goals, evaluating performance, as well as implementing a performance system, and the impact it has on human performance. Measurement tools and techniques will be explored, as well as how to design and deliver performance recognition and rewards. The implementation of the training programs will include job skills, team building skills, using career and leadership development.

Student consultants can work on a general consultation, or a variety of specific issues raised, such as:

  • Identifying effective performance management strategies like SMART Goals, Value Preposition, with team associates that will enhance the productivity of the corporation.
  • Doing an effective innovative performance management analysis of the firm with team members and increase profitability of the firm by analyzing the problems in the firm and external environment and coming up with solutions.
  • Using key performance indicators like Balanced Scorecard, Strategic Objectives with team associates in improving the performance standards of all employees. Doing a comparison of where the organization is currently in and where the organization is expected to be after the implementation.
