Project Examples
A team of senior students would like to interview each individual for about 20 minutes, totaling about an hour of your company's time. In advance, students will have prepared – with guidance from faculty – a questionnaire to guide these interviews. If you would like to see the interview questions, I would be happy to send it to you in advance. The students will use The Four Frame Model designed to help understand and approach issues about organizational problems, development, and change to analyze your organization. This will provide your business with a report and presentation identifying opportunities and gaps within the organization.
Understanding gaps can help your organization to:
- Improve the planning function across all departments (Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.)
- Improve available resource utilization to meet overall organizational objectives.
- Ensure employees are aligned with values and the mission of the organization
- Identify opportunities to reduce employee turnover or absenteeism or increase workplace safety.
- Identify gaps within the organizational structure
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Be available for 1-hour either in-person(preferred) or virtually on November 14th, 2019 for the students to interview 3 employees from your organization.
Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.
Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions.
