Learner goals and capabilities

Welcome to Viterbo University's Journalism Experience, where innovation and storytelling converge.

In this practicum experience, students will immerse themselves in various facets of journalism, honing their skills in writing and editing hard news, features, sports reports, arts and culture reviews, and more. Alongside journalistic prowess, they will cultivate professional communication, collaboration, and community outreach abilities, preparing them for a dynamic media landscape.

The Project:

We're seeking collaborations with small, local businesses or organizations aligned with our students' journalistic growth. Whether you're an ecommerce venture seeking visibility, a grassroots nonprofit striving for community engagement, or a neighborhood establishment with a unique story, our students are eager to amplify your voice through compelling storytelling.
