2-week, 80-hour, FinTech work placements for Canadian employers. 

• Hit "Request Match" to submit your project for review by the Achēv: Innovations in FinTech team.
• Visit Getting Started with Achēv: Employers for help on how to post your project.
• Once approved, you will be assigned a team of 1-2 participants before the project start date.
• Projects will start on April 7th, 2025 and must be completed within 2 weeks.

The participants are graduates of Achēv: Innovations in FinTech Program, a 7-week curriculum. They have recently completed immersive, hands-on training in fintech and are equipped to assist with a variety of projects and tasks related to information and financial technology.

They are ready to bring the lens of 

• Innovation 
• Data-driven decision-making
• Financial acumen
• Technological insight
• Analytical thinking

Finance and information technology graduates are versed in a wide range of topics including 

• Business analysis
• Data analysis
• Software development
• Finance/Accounting coordination
• QA and testing work
• SAP support and consulting

Deliverables will vary depending on the project scope. After the project concludes, you will have assets that can be used to further your business goals.

Given the nature of Innovations in FinTech program we require project-based experience. If your project looks like a job posting, we cannot accept it. Please provide a concrete scope for the learner’s work and limit their work to specific projects.

We have pinned example project templates to this experience which you can use as a starting point. If you choose to use a template from our library, ensure that you have added as much context for your business needs as possible.

Note: If learners are completing confidential work that you do not want to be shared through Riipen, you can create and sign off on a timesheet for the learner. In this case, we might also recommend that you have the learners sign an NDA before starting your project. You can use the Agreements feature to do this.
