Welcome to Montclair State University’s Advanced Seminar in Economics, where the brightest minds converge to tackle real-world economic challenges. Our seminar is a capstone course designed for students majoring in Economics. Through this course, students integrate economic theory, quantitative tools, and institutional knowledge to address applied issues such as price elasticity of demand, market structure, fiscal and monetary policies, and international trade. Our students possess a deep understanding of microeconomics and macroeconomics principles, strategic decision-making processes, data-driven analytics, and effective communication skills.

  • A 10-15 minute presentation highlighting key findings and recommendations

We are looking for business owners who are passionate about collaboration and eager to work with our talented students over four weeks. Ideal projects should have a clear business problem statement and can be research-focused, task-focused, or a mix of both. Flexibility in negotiating the project scope is essential to ensure mutual benefit and successful outcomes.
