Details

We are looking to create a new series of explainer videos in Canada's financial services industry and looking for research/writers to do a deep dive on a specific topic and write a script for a 15 minute video (approximately 2,500 words) to be narrated into a short documentary (short-doc) film.

Project participants can choose from a list of topics or submit a topic idea of their own. We are looking to create videos topical, interesting and relevant topics, including:

  • Environmental, Social and Governance topics
  • Diversity, Equality and Inclusion topics
  • Cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Etherium, etc.)
  • Stablecoins
  • Meme stocks (GameStop, etc.)
  • Financial scandals in Canada (Portus, QuadrigaCX, etc.)
  • History of Bay St. (Toronto Stock Exchange, etc)
  • Biography of historical leaders in Canada's financial services industry

Mentorship

Students will have the ability to meet with the CEO of Learnedly, as well as the Director of content development on a weekly basis, and as needed during the lifespan of the project.
