Details

The Feminine Intelligence Agency (FIA) is building the Agency Calculator, a pre- and post-test assessment tool designed to measure a woman’s autonomy, agency, and understanding of covert aggression. To make this tool impactful on both an individual and organizational level, FIA seeks a comprehensive plan to analyze and present data in a way that empowers individual users.

Students will design a system where each woman can receive a personalized report outlining her strengths and weaknesses across key domains, along with a statistical analysis of potential risk areas (e.g., likelihood of vulnerability to manipulation based on gaps in autonomy or emotional resilience). The system will also include tools for women to track their progress over time, visually compare results from multiple assessments, and understand how specific improvements reduce risks.

In addition to individualized reports, students will build the broader analytical framework, ensuring FIA can assess overall program impact and communicate results to stakeholders.

Deliverables

Chapter 1

Deliverable: Define key metrics for the Agency Calculator (e.g., autonomy scores, risk factors, emotional resilience indicators) and data collection methods.

Outcome: FIA will know exactly what data to collect and report for each user.

Chapter 2: Descriptive Statistics (Tables and Graphs)

Deliverable: Personalized visual templates (charts, graphs) for women to see their strengths, weaknesses, and growth areas after completing the test.

Outcome: Women receive clear, visual feedback about their agency and areas for improvement.

Chapter 3: Descriptive Statistics (Numerical Measures)

Deliverable: Methods for summarizing results numerically (e.g., averages, rankings, progress scores) to represent overall performance and growth over time.

Outcome: Each woman will see her statistical progress and specific numerical changes.

Chapter 4: Probability

Deliverable: A probability-based risk assessment system that estimates the likelihood of encountering harmful relationships based on areas of low agency.

Outcome: Women gain actionable insight into their risk factors and vulnerabilities.

Chapters 5 & 6: Probability Distributions

Deliverable: Tools to model score distributions and project typical patterns of risk reduction as women improve their agency scores.

Outcome: Women and FIA gain data-driven confidence in identifying high-risk factors and progress benchmarks.

Deliverable: Guidelines for conducting pilot tests and gathering data to validate the Agency Calculator’s accuracy.

Outcome: FIA ensures the tool produces reliable results for individual users.

Chapter 8

Deliverable: Frameworks for showing women how “confident” their scores are and whether improvements are statistically meaningful.

Outcome: Women see credible proof of their personal progress and can trust their results.

Chapter 9

Deliverable: Statistical tests to verify significant improvements between pre- and post-tests.

Outcome: FIA and participants can confirm that the program effectively boosts agency and resilience.

Chapter 14: Simple Linear Regression

Deliverable: Models that analyze how specific agency improvements (e.g., emotional resilience) reduce risk factors over time.

Deliverable: Models that analyze how specific agency improvements (e.g., emotional resilience) reduce risk factors over time.

Outcome: Women and FIA can clearly link progress to real-life outcomes and reduced risks.
