Details

Center Solaris provide a diverse spectrum of services to low-income families including free summer camps, self-defense programs for underprivileged kids, and employment services. We are looking for assistance in finding and completing grant applications and donation requests that support our mission and vision statement.

We believe this project will include:

  • Identify potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project.
  • Research, plan, write, edit, and revise a persuasive proposal narrative.
  • Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing.
  • Research into other grant opportunities to support our cause
  • Contact potential sponsors via email and phone to solicit donations and sponsorships for our programs and events.
Deliverables
  • Research, plan, write, edit, and revise a persuasive proposal narrative; or
  • Research into other grant opportunities to support our cause

Deliverables will include a final report with what organizations have been targeted and a copy of the submission. Students will be armed with all the necessary tools to write proposals and perform submissions.

Mentorship

We can offer 5 hours of mentorship and supervision to each student.
