*This is a student volunteer internship role*

Location: Remote

Schedule: 5 - 10 hrs / week of collaborative and independent work

We are looking for 2-3 individuals to fill the role of Content Creator / Social Media Expert to kick off our social media presence, write posts about industry related topics, and promote our content. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital publishing, generating online traffic, and you should be familiar with editing apps and software’s. Ultimately, you will help us reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online content about the technology industry.

To be successful in this role you should be preferably be a student with a background / interest in:

· Journalism, communications, content creation, video production

· Proven work experience as a content creator or similar role (please share samples of your work along with your application)

· Experience writing copy or with a specific industry, such as Technology, Marketing etc, may be beneficial

· Hands on experience with content management systems and social media applications

· Excellent writing and editing skills in English

· The ability to collaborate effectively


Deliverables

The responsibilities of this role include:

· Research and create content for industry related topics

· Help develop employer brand through social media presence

· Create and promote content on social networks and monitor engagement

· Identify audience needs through engagement logistics and apply changes to content accordingly

· Coordinate with marketing, design, and copywriting teams

· Creating clear and compelling content to engage and inform internal and external audiences

Mentorship

Weekly Check-in, Online Communication and online team meetings
