We are looking for a Nutrition Intern to support, educate and communicate with Fitplan’s clients on nutrition while using expert knowledge of nutrition and food to help others make better healthy food choices.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating and writing custom meal plans that contain recipes and meal options
- Supporting, educating and communicating with our clients and the public about nutrition on a weekly basis (most of our clients come to Fitplan for 12-week weight loss, fat loss, weight gain, or muscle building programs)
- Offer advice on how to stay healthy and provide support to help clients with their progress
- Simplify important information to clients and explain the benefits of staying on a healthy diet
- Help establish short and long-term goals
- Ensure that you stay updated on the latest nutritional diets and trends
- Teach about nutrition through written content for Fitplan’s blog
What you bring to the table:
- A strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work within a fast-moving environment
- To be self-directed with ability to successfully complete tasks without being micromanaged
- To be organized, efficient and great at follow-through
- To have solid computer, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- To have shown previous leadership/management experience at work, school, and/or within your community

Weekly 30 minute touch bases and any other support the student may need.
