Creates tests that identify issues with software before a product launch. These tests entail other tasks such as developing and running new tests and reporting their results to stakeholders, who will collaborate to fix program bugs or problems.

Post launch, ensure that the platform works as intended and doesn't have any bugs or other critical errors. Report bugs to the correct team members and re-test as needed.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements.
• Execute test plans and test cases and document results to ensure product quality.
• Identify, record, and track bugs and errors in the system.
• Report testing outcomes and provide feedback for product improvement.
• Verify fixes and perform regression testing to ensure problem resolution.
• Liaise with the development and product teams to ensure seamless communication.
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry testing standards and trends.
• Identify quality assurance processes and best practices for the team.

Specific tests that QA Engineers will run and report any issues on:

• account creation
• video uploads
• checking the results that are produced by the platform
• editing videos on the platform
• exporting clips
• setting up their AI assistant
• chatting with their AI assistant and running reports/analysis

Students will use Trello & a google document that outlines all testing tasks to be done daily. This will allow them to keep track of what is to be tested and report in-real time.

Students will have weekly check ins with team members and will be given the opportunity to ask questions and learn from the team & about the business.
