Details

We would like to build a mobile app to allow us to communicate with the families who are staying with us while their child receives medical care.

The primary focus for the student will be:

  • Conduct a needs analysis with key stakeholders within the organization
  • Research available options to determine which development tool is most suitable and cost-effective
  • Create a design proposal including mock-ups and timeline.
  • Build a fully-functioning mobile app.
  • Provide training on updating and maintaining the app.

Our goal at the end of this experience is to have a fully functioning mobile app that we can use to help us communicate with our families.

Mentorship

Weekly update meetings (or more/less often depending on the student's preference and needs) to discuss status updates and resolve any questions or needs from the student. We will also incorporate real-time feedback during these meetings and throughout the project.
