The main goal for this project is to assign a student to help plan and execute a retreat for NMCD Inc. This will involve several different steps for the student, including:


- Understanding the company's requirements and expectations for the retreat.

- Researching potential retreat locations and activities.

- Planning the logistics for transportation, accommodation, and meals.

- Creating a schedule and agenda for the retreat.

- Coordinating with vendors and suppliers for any necessary equipment or services.

- Executing the retreat according to the planned schedule and agenda.

Deliverables

By the end of the project, a student will have completed the following tasks:


- A detailed plan for the retreat including location, activities, logistics, and schedule.

- Coordination with vendors and suppliers for any necessary equipment or services.

- Execution of the retreat according to the planned schedule and agenda.


Final deliverables should include:

- A report detailing the planning and execution process, including any challenges faced and how they were overcome.


Mentorship

1. Staff Time:

   - Our team will dedicate significant staff time to mentor and guide the student throughout the event planning process.

   - This includes assistance with researching venues, vendors, and entertainment options.

   - Our staff will provide guidance on negotiating contracts and pricing to ensure the best possible deals.

   - We will assist in designing event layouts and managing guest lists and RSVPs.

   - Our team will assist in coordinating logistics such as transportation, accommodations, setup, execution, and breakdown of the event.


2. Access to Tools and Technology:

   - The student will have access to a variety of tools and technology to streamline the planning process.

   - This includes project management software such as Trello for task organization and collaboration.

   - Google Workspace will be provided to use Google Docs and Sheets for budgeting and timeline management.

   - Canva will be available for creating event layouts and graphics.

   - Communication tools such as Gmail and Whatsapp will be utilized for seamless communication.

   - Luma is used for tasks such as guest list management, registration, and ticketing will also be accessible.
