Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic undergraduate student (3 years in) with an ELECTRICAL engineering and BIOMEDICAL engineering background to join our research team.

The successful candidate will have a foundation in electrical engineering principles and a deep understanding of equations related to conductivity, resistance, and voltage.

Deliverables

The purpose of this internship is to validate the results obtained concerning the impedance and the resistance of each layer of tissues at the level of the hips, from the skin to the bones in order to confirm hypotheses about electric current (Amps, Volts).

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with research projects related to electrical engineering and biomedical engineering
  • Manipulate and validate data related to conductivity, resistance, and voltage
  • Analyze and interpret data using mathematical and statistical techniques
  • Collaborate with other members of the research team to develop new ideas and approaches
  • Prepare summary and reports on research findings

Mentorship

The student will be accompanied by a research manager already assigned to the project and by some members of the team and by various external collaborators.
