MHCombiotic Inc. has discovered a novel product, Wound Hydrogel, formulated with an antimicrobial. The main goal of this project is to obtain regulatory approvals and market the product. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Researching the regulatory requirements for the product in the relevant countries.


- Developing a marketing strategy for the product.


- Creating a marketing plan for the product.


- Developing a pricing strategy for the product.


- Identifying potential customers for the product.


- Developing a promotional plan for the product.

MHC is providing novel antibacterial and antibiofilm materials with antioxidant properties for different industrial, agricultural, and clinical applications including pharmaceutical companies, dental/orthopaedic implants, cosmetics (e.g. anti-acne creams, preservatives), coating on surgical tools, artificial joints, medical devices, wound dressing, high touch surface coatings, and infection control at hospitals, especially after surgery. Moreover, we are providing the same materials for the veterinary, dairy, food and oil and gas industry as well. We have discovered several different antimicrobial formulations with different features and expenditures, each of them being useful for a specific type of clinical or industrial application.
