Details

Students to develop their technical skills and knowledge in software programming/web development. We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative IT & Web Developer to join our growing development team. The position will involve working with our team of digital marketers and web designers.

Deliverables
  • Responsible for installation of security updates as they become available for our platforms and plug-in and ensuring site functionality is not compromised.
  • Review details of updates to determine importance/benefits/urgency of the and deciding on course of action - triage based on user traffic and impact reporting any incidents to vendor as necessary
  • Confirm that websites and micro sites are performing optimally by conducting speed tests and analyzing results and taking appropriate action (problem resolution)
  • Monitor and respond to form submissions and notifications to ensure they are distributed correctly and stored
  • Work with our team to develop tools or software programs for the company
  • Be able to write well-designed, testable, and efficient codes with great documentation.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to continuously improve our products and processes
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
Mentorship

Students will work closely with the operations manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include weekly progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
