Our project is open to individual students or groups.

Our e-commerce ecosystem connects consumers with their local producers and suppliers of fresh food and other artisanal products. We work with entrepreneurs and small businesses to help get their unique, high quality products more known by consumers. Our vision is to make fresh, unique and wholesome local products more available and accessible.

We would like to work with students in helping us support our businesses to succeed.

The particular challenge we are facing is improving user experience on our platform for both end users and businesses. Some questions that could be answered in helping us face this challenge include:

  • How can we improve the navigation of our platform?
  • How can we increase our retention rate?
  • How can we better guide end users to make purchases on FreshFind?
  • How can we improve the overall flow of the website on mobile devices?
  • How can we improve the onboarding process for businesses to begin selling on FreshFind?
  • What can be improved in our support processes to retain businesses and ensure their success?
  • What can be improved in our landing pages to retain users and increase purchases through the platform?
  • What can be improved in our outreach and marketing process to attract the types of business we’re looking for?

Some tasks that could help us face this challenge include:

  • Assessing the flow of the platform from an end user and business perspective
  • Suggesting design improvements to enhance user experience
  • Experiencing our current business development process and making recommendations for improvements
  • Creating a customer relations process that makes it easier to discover and support customers
  • Analyzing sales and communications strategies and providing recommendations

We are looking for students who can provide:

  • Attention to our real-world challenges
  • Practical solutions to address our challenges
  • Regular connections with our team members to understand and adapt to the effects of implemented solutions
