We want a student to research and write a a digital marketing strategy for two websites selling RV parts and accessories and related items: rvpartshop.ca (Canada) and rvpartshop.com (USA) We want to grow and engage our target market. We’d like to know how we can maximize different channels and what will work best for us.

The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following:

  • What is the most effective ways we can promote our company?
  • What marketing channels and social media platforms should we utilize or discontinue?
  • How can we improve our ROI on PPC advertising
  • What budget is appropriate for the various marketing channels?
  • What brand messaging should we use? How can we improve our appeal to our target demographic with changes in messaging techniques?
Deliverables

Final deliverables will be in the form of a report. We are looking for an assessment of the effectiveness of our existing programs and recommendations on how to maximize sales and ROI from our marketing efforts.

An in-class project was completed for the company late last year by five student teams. Reports and research already done available from those teams. We are looking for a consolidation of those reports with selection of the best possible recommendations to be included in the final marketing plan.

Mentorship

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students tasks and duties can be made if necessary.

A dedicated project manager will be available to the student team to provide required data, platform access and information on existing marketing efforts.
