Details

We are seeking up to two students for the winter term to join our team with a focus on business development and lab process optimization. The overall goal is to help design more efficient processes for our team! We will provide you with all of our processes and information needed to complete research, and will support your personal learning and development throughout the project.

Before starting this project we will also give you a full overview of our company and the technology behind our products. Our team will be here to support you if you have any technical or business related questions. We are a remote-first team, using Slack to communicate and Zoom for meetings as necessary.

Deliverables

Business development includes researching grants and assisting with the development of smaller grant applications. Lab process optimization includes researching online resource management programs (i.e LabCollector), SOP editing and creating documentation for new users. Other ad-hoc projects can be assigned based on students interests, including policy creation/management, human resources development, social media content creation and creating posters for our laboratory!

Mentorship

Our production assistant and business manager will be available to you at any time throughout the process. We are a remote first company who uses Slack and Google Drive, so a Google account would be helpful for connectivity. We will provide you with access to our Slack and the documents needed for success in this role.
