PROJECT DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION DU PROJET:

Hermay Labs Corporation is a high-tech chemistry laboratory in pursuit of creating innovative technologies and products to enhance various Canadian industries. One of Hermay Labs’ current initiatives is the extraction, purification and chemical modification of vitamin E from canola oil. Canola is one of the most widely grown crops in Canada and has a large production volume when compared to other grains as its oil is recognized to be the most popular cooking oil. To increase the application potential of the canola production industry, Hermay Labs will focus on using vitamin E recovery as a tool to expand the market, discovering new possibilities within the current oil production process. This initiative presents new molecular modifications to serve the scientific community and to increase nutritional benefits to the general populace.
