After running operations as a solopreneur for the first year, the Plantish family has grown a little and now we’re looking for a new team member to help us develop a B2B sales program. If you like engaging with customers and consider yourself an outgoing, independent, and reliable person we have a very refreshing opportunity for you!

We need assistance in developing finance process as we grow our business to the next level. We would like you to create a simple step-by-step strategy for finance plan.

PROJECT SCOPE

Our team is looking for a financial or accounting wizard who can help us set up sustainable financial processes. The primary project requirements include:

  1. Development of Financial Procedure document to guide Plantish's financial practices
  2. Develop accounting guidelines to ensure proper filing of revenue and expenses for tax purposes
  3. Recommend accounting/financial software
  4. Manage bookkeeping, payroll and expense budget
  5. Sales and Income projections (conservative and aggressive)
  6. Business planning with cashflow preparation and analysis
  7. Financial accounting report preparation and analysis

We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only brainstorm but also execute a strategy to achieve:

  • Having financial processes and practices in place to sustain company growth.

This is a great project for students to prove their finance or accounting expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily illustrated and communicated.

The final project deliverables are:

  • A brief report detailing your research, recommended solutions, and an implementation plan.
  • A guideline on finance process and strategy, including templates for future uses.
  • A short presentation on the contents of the report and guideline.

It should assist our sales team in successfully prospecting within our target market with actionable recommendations that will increase sales conversions. The insights that you provide will help our team improve lead generation and increase conversion rates to drive more sales.

Ideally you are an eco conscious individual and you’ll help Plantish to expand our reach. You :

- Are a self-motivated individual who wants to inspire change!

- Are able to work independently and also collaborate as a team member

- Are outgoing and love meeting new people + communicating with those who share your eco values

- Capable of juggling a bunch of tasks and responsibilities

- Have strong communication skills and a general positive attitude and outlook

- Have strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects

We will give you access to organizational assets to support this project such as personnel, website analytics, sales and brand collateral, and more. We can also suggest names of competitors and comparators to research.
