No skills listedWe're supporting a local nonprofit with developing a series of short videos that teach parents and children afro hair care while having conversations about personal wellbeing & health. We're looking for a team of students that can film on location and provide equipment.
This project involves one day of filming on location between March 27 - March 31, 2023.
Successful applicants MUST have access to and utilize filming equipment, including two cameras, two tripods, and two mics. Lighting equipment would be a bonus. Renting equipment from your University is a great option for those who do not own this equipment.
Experience setting up sets for YouTube content is also a bonus.
- Consultations with the nonprofit client to understand their needs
- Create a shot list that satisfies the requirements of the client
- Film one video on location - set up equipment & stage the set with the client

- Edit the video into several chapters
- Provide the client with the final edited deliverables (one full-length video & several shorter clips of the video (chapters))
Students will be able to add this experience to their portfolio. Students will also have the opportunity to continue working with MinuteSkill or the nonprofit client depending on the outcome and performance of the project.
