Students will gain hands-on experience in navigating trademark regulations, ensuring brand protection, and fostering innovation in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
- Trademark Searches: Students will research existing trademarks to ensure the uniqueness of the company name, product names, and logos. This involves using databases and other resources to check for any similar or conflicting trademarks already registered.
- Documentation Gathering: Students will gather all necessary documentation required for the trademark registration process. This includes business registration documents, proof of first use of the trademark, specimen of the trademark, and any other relevant materials.
- Trademark Application Forms: Students will assist in completing the trademark application forms accurately and comprehensively. This involves providing detailed information about the trademark, its intended use, and other relevant details as required by the trademark office.
- Communication with Legal Advisors: Students will liaise with legal advisors or trademark attorneys to seek guidance and clarification on any legal matters related to the trademark registration process. This may involve discussing trademark laws, regulations, and any potential issues that may arise during the registration process.
- Progress Tracking: Students will be responsible for tracking the progress of the trademark registration process. This includes monitoring the status of the application, responding to any inquiries or requests from the trademark office, and ensuring that all necessary steps are completed in a timely manner.
Students will receive guidance and mentorship from experienced staff members throughout the project. They will have access to legal advisors, trademark databases, necessary documentation, and tools required for the trademark registration process. About the company
MHC is providing novel antibacterial and antibiofilm materials with antioxidant properties for different industrial, agricultural, and clinical applications including pharmaceutical companies, dental/orthopaedic implants, cosmetics (e.g. anti-acne creams, preservatives), coating on surgical tools, artificial joints, medical devices, wound dressing, high touch surface coatings, and infection control at hospitals, especially after surgery. Moreover, we are providing the same materials for the veterinary, dairy, food and oil and gas industry as well. We have discovered several different antimicrobial formulations with different features and expenditures, each of them being useful for a specific type of clinical or industrial application.
