Corporate Assistant Internship

4Seasons is looking for a Corporate Assistant with strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills to join our team as a summer intern. The Corporate Assistant will learn all aspects of the business by supporting Operations, HR and Training teams during the hiring, training, onboarding and retention process with new and existing employees. The Role May 3 - September 13, 2022 Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (40 hours per week) This position will be on-site at the 4Seasons office with COVID-19 procedures followed Responsibilities Operations: Assist with administrative and record-keeping tasks as required Test, assess and work with app developers to enhance the employee app Provide recommendations on additional app features to progress the employee experience Human Resources: Assist with the employee rewards and recognition program Support the employee onboarding process, including reference checks, background checks, drug tests, etc. Help maintain employee data in the HR system and ensure data integrity and consistency, including but not limited to: new hires, terminations, personal changes, manager, and organizational changes Training: Provide customer service and assist employees and trainees with questions, comments or feedback Support with the administration and coordination of in-person training and programs (i.e. trainee sign in, route orientation sessions) Skills and Qualifications Currently enrolled in a degree or diploma related to business or commerce Experience working or volunteering in the social sector is preferred Strong self-starter, attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, organizational capabilities and ability to multitask Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to prepare documents, presentations, correspondence and spreadsheets Ability to work with software and applications
