Pitch Your Cause! - Internship Challenge
Want to intern with us? We don’t want resumes; we want your creativity. Pachira empowers giving. Our mission is to enable you to create impact in your communities, your world. We want to hear from you what that impact would be - what cause, social initiative, or charity? Then tell us what you would do to create that impact. The challenge is to use your imagination and creativity (no limits, no boundaries to your vision)! 1.What is your social initiative or cause? What impact do you want to create in your community or the world? (Does not have to be an existing not-for-profit organisation or social project) 2.Why is the cause, social initiative or charity important to you? 3.How will you make it happen, how would you support it, or how would you solve the social issue/cause. Your creativity in this section is the only determining criteria in our selection and in awarding the internship. Visit our website for more details and to take the challenge. Be creative, be impactful! Submission can be provided in a format of your choosing: a short video clip, an infographic, an interactive website, a newsletter - whatever format works best for you to showcase your creativity. Millennial (B2C) Marketing Plan
Pachira Social Enterprise Inc. has a mission to empower giving by creating an interconnected network of citizens, communities and corporations. We have a lofty vision of creating a sharing world by providing the financial resources through our emerging, patented software platform to help others create impacts in their communities, and the world. We hope to help create a new generation of givers and change agents - our Gen Y and Gen Z's ("Millennial"). As such, in our efforts to target a demographic of Millennial consumers, we have experienced challenges maintaining a consistent voice across media channels. We want you to assist us in updating our branding in a way that clearly differentiates us from our competitors and serves our target Millennial market. Pachira’s marketing plan harnesses the power of cause marketing (or cause-related marketing). We firmly believe that cause-related marketing is a power marketing tool to be embedded in everything we do: all our branding, engagement, outreach programs and communication to all stakeholders and subscribers. For this project, you will need to: Understand our brand and mission. Conduct research on our users, stakeholders, and competitors. Analyze our competitive landscape. Identify trends and opportunities in our target market. You will have access to our marketing team, who will communicate regularly with you and provide all the information and clarification needed. We want to increase our brand awareness in the millennial segment through a mission-aligned marketing campaign that works within our budget and time constraints.

Social Enterprise Website Redevelopment based on UX/UI designs
We are looking to enhance our website to be more user friendly and boost our ability to conduct cause-related marketing. We are currently working with a UX/UI design course to get mockups for what this would look like (which will be provided), and we now need a web development group to implement their designs and recommendations and integrate it with our current setup. The key project is building a new website based on the insights provided by our York collaboration and UX best practices. We hope to have a workable prototype that is ideal for our target customer, which we can present to our team for platform recommendations. The website should adhere to these key marketing strategies and values: Core Insight: Not enough funding to support all the causes we want to support Bold Goal: Empower giving to create a sharing world.
