Bootstrapping all the way!! Over the last 2.5 years, we went from an idea to early Rnd with support from government grants with development partners to building our first early prototype, then to our early MVP and now making sales with our early customers in USA and Canada.
Recently expanded into Michigan, USA as Fetherstill USA LLC to better serve our present and future customers in the USA.
Thank you to everyone who have supported and supporting us in this journey.Visit us at www.fetherstill.com

ESP32-Based Battery Management System Development
Fetherstill Inc. is seeking to enhance its battery management system by integrating the ESP32 microcontroller. The project aims to develop a robust and efficient codebase for the ESP32 that will manage battery charging, discharging, and monitoring processes. The ESP32 microcontroller is known for its versatility and low power consumption, making it an ideal choice for this application. The project will involve understanding the existing battery management protocols and translating them into code that can be executed on the ESP32. Learners will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge of embedded systems, programming, and electronics to create a solution that ensures optimal battery performance and longevity. The project will focus on tasks such as implementing communication CAN protocols, developing algorithms for battery state estimation, and ensuring safety features are in place along with integration of the data with AWS dashboard.
BMS-PC Interface Development
Fetherstill Inc. is seeking the development of a basic interface to connect their Battery Management System (BMS) to any local PC. The primary goal of this project is to enable users to observe and edit data from the BMS through a user-friendly interface. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of software development, user interface design, and data communication protocols. The interface should be intuitive, reliable, and capable of displaying real-time data from the BMS while also allowing users to make necessary adjustments. The project will involve tasks such as designing the user interface, establishing communication between the BMS and the PC, and ensuring data integrity and security. Key tasks include: - Designing a user-friendly graphical interface. - Implementing data communication protocols between the BMS and the PC. - Ensuring real-time data display and edit functionalities. - Testing and debugging the interface for reliability and security.
Battery module, electrical and electronics design and development
Main goal is to undertake detailed design and development of the different electrical and electronics components of a battery pack that my be used for electric mobility and energy storage applications.
Cyber security layer for product Battery Management System
BMS is the most important component for our battery module and facilitates the function of the product. Not having a security layer can expose the product and could potentially cause damage to the user. One of our major goal is to create an end to end safe product for the user. Fetherstill has written code for the BMS to execute a specific set of functions. The main goal is to develop code and create a cyber security layer within the BMS software to avoid any system malfunction.
