The Building Black Youth Foundation is an NPO with a special experiential learning program called the Upskilling Youth Internship Program. This program is for students 19+ currently enrolled in a post secondary institution. Through this program we are looking for UX/UI experienced web developers to support the redesigning and updating of our website. We are in need of new features and pages added to our site to reflect our current progress and updates. Consult for Impact
Every semester we here at Rotman Commerce, University of Toronto, run a program called Consult for Impact for our students. Consult for Impact is an experiential learning opportunity that encourages the application of theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. Our program strives to provide pro-bono consulting services that allow students to experience the operations of providing consulting services for a client organized in a structured learning environment. We are looking to partner with non-profit organizations, University affiliated organizations, social startups and/or small businesses in Canada who are unable to afford external consulting services. **PLEASE READ** Project Eligibility & Requirements : To be eligible for this project Students must have previous experience in writing research papers on accurate sourced information. Students must be able to accurately document information found through research and prepare research reports. Students should preferably have an interest in learning and researching uplifting, pre-colonial black history topics and information. Students must be available for the 2 month period consecutively, for the duration of the project and be able to attend all weekly project meetings.
