We would like to further digitize and upgrade our existing website for our organization. The website should be developed based on existing cloud-based website development service tools or other available platform-built tools. We would like to work with students to enhance our existing website and grow our business along with the digitization progress.

Mobile App UI / UX Design & Prototype

Our company would like to explore designing a native mobile app prototype. The app concept allows users access to real time video feeds of any establishment, business or venue. The idea allows a person to view the places they wish to go to before actually going, acquiring insight and information that will help them make instant decisions about their time and choices. The app can follow the format of the built website with the existing functionality. Users on the app can give their real time location and the app will show specific information related to the users' needs, within a 5km zone. An example would be a user seeking a restaurant for dinner, with the user specifically seeking a steak & shrimp dinner. The backend admin panel, already designed, allows for onboarding a business and inputting its services and products. A requirement of the app would be to tie in with the admin panel so users can see the businesses, their services, products and location. A key functionality within the app for this will be the search bar; the design is on the website and can be easily followed. Another requirement would be the interface to tie in with the video feed. The video feed is hosted on our servers. By accessing the video feed through the app, users will be able to see a live feed of their choice. One of the key benefits of the app is the video banner. This video banner allows a business to advertise to the users. For example - several restaurants on the same block advertising the same item with different pricing. Users can see this information onscreen and make their decisions instantaneously. Alternatively, businesses can change their advertising several times a day. Although this makes the landscape much more competitive, it instantly brings the best value to users. Therefore, another critical aspect in building this app would be the programming for the businesses to be able to upload their videos. UI / UX Design & Prototype

Our company would like to explore re-designing our application for current web and mobile to reflex our rebranding with a prototype. We would like a group of students to design a new prototype web and mobile application based on the current website’s functionality and design new creative ideas This will involve: Conducting background research on our existing web and mobile application for the product. Identifying key areas of our current website and what areas of focus might return the best results in a redesign. Learning and using various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma. Creation of a screen-by-screen UX / UI prototype of a web application that can be used on all major browsers and mobile devices Overall experience with UI should be smooth and great Bonus steps in the process would also include: Conducting UX / UI testing with real potential users potentially involving paper prototypes or other software tools to support this

1000towns.ca - Launch New Town Pages (WordPress)

Number of individual students required: 15 students, any Province or Territory, Canada We would like to lunch new small town pages on 1000towns.ca. We would like to work with students to develop these unique pages for us. Students should be prepared to: Launch 10 town pages in WordPress based on our template Build pages, with our assistance in providing digital content Test launched pages The 1000 Towns team will provide training.

Website Improvement and Development

DLA & Associates Inc. is a trading and manufacturing company focused on agricultural products and technologies. We would like to update and improve our existing site. Also, we need assistance to add new modules, such as eCommerce. Students should be prepared to: Create a design of a proposed eCommerce section of the website and test its functionality. Populate various website sections with additional content provided by the company. This will include additional text, images, and short videos. Re-format some of the pages to make them easier to read and more pleasant to view. The suggestions will be provide by the company and discussed together with students. Provide training on updating and maintaining the site.

Digital Content Creation for Social Media

We are looking for students with social media skills Folium is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of innovative natural health and pharmaceutical products. We would like students to help us with creating social media content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. Students will create content about our LIVLI brand for Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube, blogs. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Write blog articles, email newsletters, and other content pieces on assigned topics; Assist with social media videos and images; Create images and short videos for our posts, sales materials, product specifications, fliers, and other marketing materials; Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story and write media proposals; You will be working on content creation that we can use as go-to marketing tools;

Social Media Graphic Design Assistant - Level Up

The Graphic Design Assistant will work directly with the CEO and founder Sharon Bonner, and the Social Media and Graphic Design lead, as the company continues to increase its social media presence and develop its brand image in the events industry. The intern will also work with the Social Media and Graphic Design Lead to develop and design external facing graphics for social media, and communications. The intern will create social media visuals for at least 5 social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and Pinterest) including reels, carousel graphics, static posts, blog banners and more while being directly supervised by the department lead. All stages of the graphic design process will be involved, and the work will vary from planning and creating the most engaging and trendy graphics, to brand design. The main goals of this project are to market the new consulting business with on-brand visuals and develop design assets for the company.

Our company is designing a native mobile app prototype for PIFit - a concept that enhances customers' retail experience while changing how digital advertising is delivered to the end-user. Pay It Forward™ (PIFIT) is a patent-pending app that innovates advertising and shopping by allowing users to interact with ads (digital content), resulting in the end-user receiving an instant cash discount (ICD) on their purchase. Driven as a multi-brand cross-promotion platform, PIFit is essentially a B2B2C App. The non-invasive approach to delivering and viewing digital content gets 100% confirmed interaction. Identify key areas of focus from inception to implementation for the design and build of the mobile app. Learn and use various software design tools such as Figma. Journal Creation

We're looking for a student to help us with the creation of weather journals. This will include: Coming up with color themes and branding guides that aligns with and builds on our existing branding. Creating a weather journal on Canva Daily tracking of weather conditions.
